The Webby Award nominees were announced this morning. You can register and vote for the People's Voice Awards anytime between now and May 5. The winners list will be released on May 9.The New York Times called this award "the online equivalent of an Oscar," but there's one big difference - acceptance speeches are limited to five words.
For example, when Al Gore received his Lifetime Achievement Webby last year, he said: "Please don't recount this vote."
And comedian Eddie Izzard chose to describe the Webby statuette with his five words: "A Slinky with a hard-on."
