The "World Famous" Lipizzaner Stallions will be performing at 2:30pm and 7:30pm today, in the Palm Springs Convention Center.This exciting show includes many of the traditional movements and exercises presented at the Spanish Riding School of Vienna, including leaps and maneuvers.
Check out the Airs Above The Ground videos... my favorite is the Capriole:
"The stallion leaps into the air, drawing his forelegs under his chest at the height of elevation, and kicks out violently with his hind legs. The capriole can take many years of training."
I know what they mean. I've been trying to learn that move since I was twelve. Still can't nail it.
