This was the view on Palm Canyon Drive a few minutes ago, near the end of my commute (click thumbnail to enlarge). As you drive to the west, the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains loom larger and larger until they enfold you. Spectacular.

Today's high is predicted to be 72°F/22°C.

Winter is not too bad out here.
