Festivities begin with cocktails and viewing of the silent auction offerings at 5:15 P.M. followed by dinner at 7:00 P.M. Wells Fargo returns as presenting sponsor for the annual fundraising event that honors individuals and organizations committed to fight against HIV and AIDS. All proceeds benefit Desert AIDS Project, which provides its clients with complete and compassionate medical care, case management, and social services, in addition to performing community outreach for HIV education, prevention, and testing. 01/31/08Winewomen PSP is Back, Bigger and Better Than EverA group of seven local women have recast the popular wine-appreciation group known as Winewomen, newly renamed Winewomen PSP. The organization is hosting its 2008 kickoff event and membership drive on Thursday, January 31st at the new STIR Lounge at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort and Spa in Indian Wells from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Wine pairings to frame a meal is the evening's chosen theme. Wine-curious, newbies and aficionados are invited to sample appetizers, chocolates and desserts paired with white and red wines chosen to elevate the food-wine experience. We just push them because it's the right thing to do...our son 'went down' 5 years ago on a bike...That's why we are so keen on training and safety."The Basic Rider course offered by Coachella Valley Motorcycle Training is fifteen (15) hours long.
