After World War II, the elation of victory and the large numbers of soldiers returning to America triggered an upsurge in our birth rate. So now, the years from 1946 to 1964 are commonly known as the Baby Boom and if you're between the ages of 42 and 60, you're a Boomer.Boomers are breathing new life into an area which was once dismissed as a golf-obsessed retirement destination.
