Do you love books enough to release them into the wild, to be found by others? BookCrossing.com says the process is a "fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature." They claim to be the World's Biggest Book Club, and their stated goal is to "make the whole world a library."All I know is that "paying it forward" makes you feel good. I released a few books last summer (in Rancho Mirage and Andreas Canyon, among other places), and it's nice to know that several readers are getting some use out of them.
