The National Trust for Historic Preservation recently announced the selection of its 2006 Dozen Distinctive Destinations, an annual list of "unique and lovingly preserved communities" in the United States. Our village is cited as a "desert hideaway that holds countless treasures of modern architectural design." [Details.]
