Pacific Life Open: Dlouhy v. Vahaly

I was hoping Lukas Dlouhy would prevail during his qualifying match this morning at the Pacific Life Open. He enjoyed swearing in his native language when his serves went awry:
The spectators enjoyed it, too. Lukas came all the way from the Czech Republic to take his chances against players from the rest of the world. He must have been very tired after that long journey:

Even though Lukas won the first set 6-4, his opponent trounced him during the second set - Lukas took only one game. That's when I began examining the snow on top of Mount San Jacinto:

In the third set, things were not looking good for Lukas (he eventually lost), so I focused my attention outside the stadium, on the fake shadow affixed to one of the sponsor tents. It looked so realistic, I began to feel like a 50-foot-tall tennis player was creeping up behind me:
