So, yes I joined the belly dancers.As assistant editor Kip wrote in his earlier blog entry, we were invited to a mixer last night at The Dancing Greek restaurant in Rancho Mirage. I think he may have mentioned something about the belly dancers.While they make the art form look so easy, it's NOT I assure you. On stage with the ladies for maybe a minute was long enough for me. Not that I wasn't having fun. The dancers' energy was so intense and inviting that for a moment I too felt like one of these goddesses, then the side cramp started.
