Sasha Abramsky has been researching the rise of mass incarceration in America, and how it's disenfranchising millions of citizens due to the continued existence of 19th-century laws which place strict limits on the voting rights of people convicted of felony crimes.Sasha is coming to Peppertree Bookstore on Saturday at 3pm.
He'll be discussing his new book, Conned: How Millions Went to Prison, Lost the Vote and Helped Send George W. Bush to the White House.
