My name is Bill Eddy. My wife Linda and I live in Newport Beach, CA, but also spend a considerable amount of time at our home at the Indian Ridge Country Club in Palm Desert. We've been subscribers to Palm Springs Life for years, and enjoy your magazine very much.

Recently, we attended several tours and events during Palm Springs Modernism Week, and during one of the walking tours of homes in the Las Palmas area, I decided to write about Palm Springs in my March "Aloha Eddy Line." The Eddy Line is a personal newsletter that I write and distribute to over 1100 friends, business colleagues, and family through Mailchimp anywhere from 6-8 times a year. I started writing the Eddy Line in 2004. My readers seem to love reading about my view on life, my travels, my friends, and personal experiences. Their response has been very gratifying. In fact, the newsletter eventually led to writing and publishing my first book last year. "Loves, Life & Laughter" - the highly enjoyable journey of Bill 'Aloha' Eddy.

I thought that you might enjoy reading my March 2014 issue about 'Palm Springs - the ultimate desert playground.'.

Please log on to: This is the website for my book, and where you can read recent issues of my "Aloha Eddy Line." Click 'Aloha Eddy Line' on the far right side of my home page, and you will see the Palm Springs issue, along with a few other recent issues of my newsletter.

Palm Springs has been a part of my life since "Spring Break" in the early 60s. I love it here, and hope you enjoy reading my issue about 'Palm Springs - the ultimate desert playground..'

Thank you

Bill Eddy.
