TRIO to Host a Glamorous Oscar Viewing Party

The paparazzi won’t just be in Hollywood snapping pictures of glamorous people for the Oscars on Sunday, February 24th they will also be in Palm Springs.

On the same night, TRIO will be hosting their 4th Annual “Hollywood’s Biggest Night” Oscar party and paparazzi will be at the event to take the pictures of Palm Spring’s most glamorous people at the popular restaurant.

Hollywood’s Biggest Night begins at 4:30PM at TRIO and tickets cost $150 for general seating, $200 for VIP seating with all of the proceeds benefitting the AIDS Assistance Program.

With a ticket to Hollywood’s Biggest Night, you will be able to walk TRIO’s famed orange carpet, pose for the paparazzi, mingle with the media, enjoy unlimited well cocktails, wine, champagne a six-course prix fixe dinner and have the opportunity to watch the Oscars on the big screen.

According to General Manager and Owner, Tony Marchese, Garrett’s popcorn, cream of mushroom soup, Tuscan baby kale salad, jumbo shrimp cocktail, lobster Cognac ravioli, pork tenderloin and orange ripieno will be served to those in attendance.

Even though the night will be filled with entertainment and glamour, the night is also about giving back to the Palm Springs community.

“When you give back, it always comes back to you,” Marchese said. “TRIO was built from this community, it is always important to be a part of it.”

Some of the other programs that TRIO regularly donates to besides the AIDS Assistance Program are the Palm Springs High School Arts Program, the Desert AIDS Project and the Stroke Recovery Center, Marchese said.

According to Marchese, TRIO teams up with the AIDS Assistance Program two-to-three times a year for an event to raise money – and helping out the program is a natural fit.

“I believe in it,” he said. “They feed people every month and that’s what we do, so it fits.”
