With its beautiful, picturesque outdoor patio and its sophisticated and inviting dinning room, LaBrasserie Bistro & Bar in La Quinta owners, Emmanuel and Kara Janin, aim to make their guests feel like they’ve just stepped into the streets of Paris.
For customers who have never dined in Paris or eaten authentic French cuisine, Chef Janin will transport you to France with everything from the ambiance and elegant décor of the restaurant to the classically prepared dishes.
Kara’s suggestions to customers who have never been to LaBrasserie or dined on French cuisine, to order the most classically prepared and most popular meals in the restaurant. At LaBrasserie, those dishes are: the Steamed Mussels Mariniere, which are steamed in white wine with shallots, garlic and thyme and served with brasserie fries; the Oven Roasted Brine Pork Chop served with chipotle mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus and Coachella date chutney; Grilled Steak Frites, which is a prime flat iron steak served with café de Paris butter, brasserie fries and butter lettuce salad or when it is the Winter season, the Boeuf Bourguignon or Sauerkraut, which is the chef’s hometown specialty.
Chef Janin comes from Alsace, France, which is known for some of the best white wines in the world. At LaBrasserie you can find any specialty drink you want at the full bar as well as a wide selection of wine and champagne including Schlumberger, Pinot Gris from Alsace.
As you enjoy the authentic food, wines and desserts, the Janins hope all their guests feel a sense of pleasure and satisfaction, as if they are sitting and eating in the dinning room of a classic French bistro in Paris. It’s no wonder why readers of Palm Springs Life Magazine voted LaBrasserie Bistro & Bar Best of the Best French Restaurant for 2012.
