Fall season is here and the desert’s top spas have a cornucopia of specials for every taste, from Desert Trip rockers to comfort-seeking traditionalists to those who want to do good with their indulgences:
In honor of Breast Cancer Month, 10 percent of the price of October specials at The Spa at Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa will go to the Desert Cancer Foundation. Treats include Pinking of You Massage, personalized to each guest; I think in Pink Oxygen Facial to infuse the skin with oxygen, plant stem cells, peptides and botanical enzymes; Purifying Pink Grapefruit & Honey Body Scrub, using honey from the Mission Hills apiary and a host of other natural goodies; and the Mani-Pedi for the Cure finished with a choice of pretty pink polishes.
Spa Esmeralda at Renaissance Indian Wells Resort & Spa features a new Kerstin Florian Neroli Blossom Sensory Experience this month. Designed for deep relaxation, it uses lymphatic dry brushing, foot cleansing, aromatherapy and massage.

Desert Trip-themed specials include the Sticks & Stones Massage, using bamboo and hot stones to revive and sooth both muscles and minds after an all-hours dance party. Comfortably Numb is balm for sore feet, with an exfoliating date scrub followed by deeply moisturizing kukui nut/date cream, paraffin booties and reflexology. The Desert Trip facial uses local organic Medjool dates to exfoliate and refresh, and ends with a date shake from the spa’s bistro. These are available for special prices Oct. 15-16.

Top off these tasty treatments with a Butter Rum Pedicure, using premium rum, brown sugar, butterscotch and rice bran oil to get a holiday glow on.
Through Nov. 30, with the exception of holidays and holiday weekends, Spa Las Palmas at Omni Rancho Las Palmas is spotlighting three aromatic services. The Pumpkin Latte Facial uses a scuffle mask to hydrate and refresh; the Autumn Bliss Aroma Massage is targeted to melt away tension; and the Cinnamon Apple Pie Mani-Pedi pampers feet with a cinnamon apple soak sweet cream scrub and rich moisturizer.
