Relaxing Retreat, Healing Hideaway.
Famous for its 600-year-old waters, the one-of-a-kind Two Bunch Palms Resort & Spa — the country’s oldest hot mineral springs resort and first carbon-neutral resort — attracts guests from around the world looking to reconnect with themselves in a stunning and serene environment focused on health and wellness.
After fully renovating 71 of its guest rooms two years ago, the resort just unveiled 18 refurbished rooms in the vintage section of the property that surrounds the legendary grotto, modernizing them with energy-efficient components and sustainable materials, including natural woods, slate, and stone.
Two Bunch Palms has also built several brand-new mineral soaking tubs, wading tubs, and cold water tubs, all flowing with mineral water from the resort’s artisanal hot water well. The property — which is made up of 77 acres and boasts natural streams and a pond (complete with fish, turtles, and ducks) flowing from its well, recently added several communal fire pit areas and more than 1,500 additional plantings, including 60 mature palm trees.
The resort’s award-winning spa is best known for its healing, tranquil treatments performed in a variety of peaceful venues, including outdoor gazebos, mud cabanas, and Watsu pools. Additionally, the resort offers more than 50 weekly programs from fitness and movement classes to meditation and sound bath sessions.
Many guests find no need to leave the property, enjoying healthful and gourmet meals at Two Bunch Palms’ farm-to-table restaurant Essense, with a menu focused on nourishing dishes created from fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients.
