The Saguaro Palm Springs opened in February 2012, and is now the most Instagrammed hotel in the Coachella Valley.

Its bold color palette is the work of architects Peter Stamberg and Paul Aferiat, who have infused the property with 14 hues reflecting the indigenous flowers that bring color to the desert landscape. The 244-room hotel is best known for a buzzing pool scene and its Mexican cantina, El Jefe.

Over the years, the Saguaro has developed an international reputation for its uncomplicated fun and entertainment programming in Palm Springs’ most colorful and welcoming outdoor courtyard and around its swimming pool, which is one of the largest hotel pools in the area.

The Saguaro hosts a stellar lineup of local and visiting guest DJ’s every weekend during the summer, is a favorite for bachelorette and bachelor parties year-round, and is known for its wildly popular events on special occasions like the Coachella Music and Arts Festival, White Party, Pride Weekend, and is one of the original host hotels of Palm Springs’ very own electronic dance music event, Splash House.

The Saguaro Palm Springs hosts a variety of events during the year from bachelorette and bachelor parties to Splash House.

With recent updates that are appealing to weddings and social events, the new Sago Terrace is accessed through sliding doors from the Sago Ballroom, allowing for uninterrupted access between the interior and exterior spaces. The Sago Terrace is also outfitted with a motorized retractable awning which can cover the entire space, custom lighting integrated into the canopy structure, contemporary and visually-pleasing steel cable railings, and custom planter boxes which overlook the hotel’s courtyard, San Jacinto event lawn, and pool.

The renovations to the Saguaro’s event spaces cap a year of renewal and refreshment for the hotel, which transitioned hotel management to its owner, The Sydell Group, in April 2016, and is setting occupancy and sales records under the new management.
